The storm has passed and
the sky cleared but the waves continue to pound
the cove.
Every wave is different.
Thy come in sets, small swells at first
and then a series of crushing waves.
I look out to sea in anticipation.
“Oh, here comes a good one!”
It’s amazing, captivating.
I cannot tear myself away.
I can watch this for hours.
