The setting sun shines its
vivid orange glow into the tunnel at
Pfeiffer Beach.
Waves roll in from the broad Pacific and
crash through the narrow opening.
The power is captivating.
The warm glow makes me think of a cozy
hearth.
Finally, the wave is released at the other end in
a torrent of power.
I cannot tear myself away
until the sun is completely gone and the scene
fades into night.
