Oberg Lake (2010)
Northern Minnesota

From a viewpoint above the lake on Oberg Mountain my brother and I gaze out upon a sea of greens, yellows and oranges.  The front that dropped a gentle rain on us a little earlier has passed but the clouds continue to play tag with the sunlight as shadows drift across the scene.  Then in one spectacular moment the sun kissed the conifers on the shoreline and the scene exploded in color.  What a magnificent moment it was.
