For wine lovers a drive through California’s
Napa Valley takes you past one famous winery
after another.
I couldn’t help but stare in amazement at
the endless seas of vineyards that extend from
one side of the legendary valley to the other.
In autumn after the harvest the vintners
kindly leave grapes on the outer rows of
vineyards.
Wine grapes are tiny and I couldn’t wait
to sample them.
They are unlike anything we buy in the
stores – incredibly sweet and each variety with
its own unique flavor.
The sight of a cluster of these marvelous
grapes is a joy that brings a song to my heart.
