Down it falls from its perch high up on the lava cliff, down to crash on the rocks below and drench the verdant surroundings with its nourishing mist Then it joyfully exits and flows down its own little canyon to where it will join the mighty Columbia River below. We stop and feel the tiny cool droplets on our cheeks. We linger and are joyful.
