Amboy Spring Morning (2008)

It was a perfect morning - vernal equinox, full moon and the day before Easter. A rare desert lily stood tall and proud after the quenching rains of winter exiled the previous year's drought. The vibrant, purple verbena carpeted the islands of bright sand nestled between the dark waves of lava that emanated from the nearby crater. A heady perfume filled the still air, intoxicating the senses. The glorious morning sun flooded the desert with the amazing light you only find at dawn.
