Watchman (2010)
Zion National Park, Utah
The river is quiet at dawn, no crowds of people,
no busses or cars, just the murmur of the water
below and the morning breeze in the cottonwoods.
Sunset often ends the days here with an
exclamation point but dawn breaks softly, gently
over the canyon.
One must see this noble river and the
towers it carved in dawn light to really know
them.
